I am a photographer based in Cape Town, which is pretty much one of the most beautiful places in the world! I have a passion for adventure and all things beautiful. Having grown up in one of the most vibrant, creative and diverse cities in our world, it has made finding beauty in the small things an easy task. Home is great, but I also have a longing to travel, and cannot wait to go on many more adventures.
I am obsessed with interior design. Colours, textures and details – a few elements I love to include in my photography. I have always enjoyed working with children. They are so innocent, unaffected and full of emotion. They are definitely one of my favourites to photograph! My passion for kids might soon turn into a career as I am currently studying a part-time degree in teaching. After having the opportunity to see other parts of our world, I have an intense desire to travel and I cannot wait to go on more adventures with my camera in hand!
I hope to share more than just my photography on here, but these other interests too. However, out of all my hobbies and interests (there are many!) photography has always stuck out – even when I didn’t realise it. In my spare time you’ll find me behind the lens.
I love photos, they hold a special place in my heart as they’re a reminder of what was, even when your memory starts to fade. I am honoured to play a part in my client’s stories and I urge you to print your pictures, keep them safe and share them often.
How rewarding it is to think that I will be behind those images that your grandkids look at one day, as they sit around a table together telling tales of the people and moments that once were.
I love moments. Real moments. I love connecting with people. Listening to their stories and hearing about what inspires them. Real moments mean more than posing you on the other side of my lens. I want to capture your love, how he makes you laugh when you’re trying not to, how she can bring out a side of you that no one else can or the look in your eyes when you glance over at each other while no one else is watching.
My approach is that of a documentary style, whether it be for your wedding day or a family photo shoot – I will obviously guide and pose you when needed but ultimately let your individuality shine through. It can feel awkward and vulnerable to be in front of a camera, but that’s why I’m here to help you through the whole process. Most importantly I want to spend time with you, get to know the people I’m photographing.
